He was born December 3, 1948 in Coleman, Oklahoma to the late Emmett Lee McDaniel and Erdice (Stringfellow) McDaniel. Eddie lived in Johnston and Marshall counties most of his life except for a short period when he lived in Alabama. He was self employed most of his life as an appliance repairman and worked at Sears for fifteen years servicing their appliances. Eddie also served in the National Guard where he worked as a diesel mechanic. After his retirement, he spent some time helping others by driving for JAMM Transportation. Eddie enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. He enjoyed boating, going to the lake, riding 4-wheelers, camping, and fast cars. He also enjoyed time with his family.
Eddie was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Michelle McDaniel.
He leaves behind to forever cherish his memory, sons, Eddie McDaniel Jr. and wife, Debbie of Durant, Gordon McDaniel of Kingston; step-children, Michael Tucker and wife, Julia, Katelin Sullivan and husband, Dakota; brothers, Donald McDaniel and wife Susann of Ravia; Larry McDaniel and wife, Lynda of Oakland; and 15 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Friday at 11 am at the Tishomingo Cemetery with Rev. Roger Hartwell officiating.
A time of visitation will
be Thursday evening from 5 to 7 pm at the funeral home.
