Patricia "Pat" Ann Latham, 78, of Tishomingo, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, in Tishomingo.

She was born on June 12, 1948, in Ada, Oklahoma, to Andrew and Emma Othella (Gravitt) Dockery. Pat was raised in Tupelo, Oklahoma, where she developed the strong values of faith, family, and hard work that would guide her throughout her life. She met the love of her life, James Curtis Latham, and the two were united in marriage on July 21, 1967, in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. Together they built a loving home and spent many years in Ardmore before returning to Tishomingo in 2007. Throughout her life, Pat devoted herself to caring for others. Her career as a caregiver allowed her to lovingly serve both children and the elderly, and she found great joy in making the lives of those around her brighter. Pat had a passion for fishing, genealogy, cooking, and baking, but nothing brought her greater happiness than gathering her family around the table. Holidays and birthdays were always made special because she made sure everyone had their favorite meal or dessert waiting for them. She was well known for her delicious cornbread stuffing, homemade pecan pie, and the countless recipes she lovingly passed down through the generations. Each Christmas, she spent days making homemade candy, creating traditions and memories that her family will cherish forever. Some of Pat's happiest moments were spent camping and fishing at Blue River. She never missed a trout derby and proudly earned the Heavy Stringer award in her age division many times. Whether she was casting a line, preparing a family meal, or tracing her family's history through genealogy, Pat poured her heart into everything she did. Above all, Pat's greatest joy was her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend whose love was shown not only through words but through the countless acts of kindness, care, and generosity she shared throughout her life. Her legacy will live on in the traditions she created, the recipes she shared, and the memories that will forever warm the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Emma Othella Dockery; her sister, Wanda LeBleu; and her brother, Robert Dockery.

Those left to cherish her memory include her beloved husband of 59 years, James Curtis Latham, Sr. of Tishomingo; her son, James Curtis Latham, Jr. and wife, Shawna, of Tishomingo; her daughter, Sherry Beadle and husband, Jason, of Calera; her grandchildren, Forrest Latham, Dalton Latham, and Lexi Ballinger and husband, Creed; her great-grandson, Caiden Latham; her sisters, Betty Brown and Donna Mill; her brother, Bennie Dockery; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will deeply miss her.

A funeral service to honor and celebrate Pat's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 7, 2026, at the DeArman-Clark Funeral Home Chapel in Tishomingo, Oklahoma.

Interment will follow at Tishomingo Cemetery. Services are under the direction and care of DeArman-Clark Funeral Home.
