Wilson McCoy Kingsbery

Wilson McCoy Kingsbery was born on May 11, 1934 in Mill Creek, Oklahoma
to Jude and Otherine Standifer Kingsbery. He passed away on February 3,
2014 at Washita Valley Living Center in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, at the
age of 79.
Wilson graduated from Tishomingo High School and then attended Southeastern State College. He married Patsy Ruth on
August 12, 1955 in Ada, Oklahoma.
Wilson owned a Farm and Ranch Supply with his stepfather Joe Bailey Cobb
in Tishomingo, Oklahoma for several years. He then worked at the State
Department of Agriculture where he retired after 27 years of service.
During his retirement years he was a feed salesman. He was also an active member of the Chickasaw
Tribe. Wilson’s passion in life was livestock, especially horses. He
loved to ride.
He was preceded in death by his parents Jude Kingsbery and Otherine
Kingsbery Cobb and her husband Joe Bailey Cobb, wife Patsy Kingsbery,
and son Ken Kingsbery.
Wilson is survived by his daughter: Debrah Kingsbery Hendrix of Santa
Fe, New Mexico; two Grandchildren: Taylor Kingsbery Bunch and husband
Gabe of Denton, Texas and William Elias Hendricks of Santa Fe, New
Mexico; two sisters: Kay Cobb Holt and husband Tommy of Maysville,
Oklahoma and Sara Cobb of Elmore City, Oklahoma; as well as other
relatives and friends.
Graveside Services will be Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 11:00am at
Tishomingo Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Brown’s
