Funeral Services for Mr. Tommy C. Harbert, 58, of Tishomingo
will be held on Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. in the Clark Funeral Chapel
with …. …… officiating. Interment will follow in the Tishomingo Cemetery with
Military Honors provided by The Chickasaw Nation Honor Guard. Mr. Harbert passed
away on Sunday, May 23rd in the Integris Marshall Memorial Hospital in Madill,
Oklahoma.
Tommy was born on April 30, 1952 in Ada, Oklahoma to Clark Harbert and Ora
Phillips Harbert. He graduated from Tishomingo High School in 1970 and served in
the United States Air Force from 1971 until 1975. Tommy was a lifelong resident
of this area and worked for many years as a carpenter in construction, as a
welder and as a driller in the oilfield. He was preceded in death by his father
in 1985.
Tommy is survived by his mother, Ora Harbert; two daughters, Shanna Harbert and
Katie Quirey and her husband Leland; grandchildren, Connor, Brayden Sue &
Katelyn; two sisters, Donna Kaye Smith and Judy Pitmon; three nieces, Stephanie,
Melissa and Melinda and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers for the service will be: Rex Rainey, Homer Joe Ross, Willie Bowlegs,
Charlie Thomas, Steve Bolin and Stoney Warden. Honorary Bearers will be: Donnie
Young, Dale Burton, Mike McIver, Damian Thomas, TurkeyO’Bryan and Randall
Blakemore.
