Funeral Services for Mrs. Patricia Ann "Pat" Combs, 72, of
Tishomingo, Oklahoma will be held on Monday, August 17th, 2015 at 10:00 a. m. at
the First Assembly of God Church with Pastor Jonathan Smith officiating.
Interment will follow in the Tishomingo Cemetery. Mrs. Combs passed away on
Thursday, August 13th, 2015 at her home.
Pat was born on May 23rd, 1943 in Wynnewood, Oklahoma to Wylie J. McGregor and
Lillian Ann (Barnes) McGregor. She grew up and attended schools in the Marlow
and Comanche areas and married Sam Combs on June 27th, 1959 in Wichita Falls,
Texas. They came to Tishomingo in 1976. Pat had owned and operated the “Dough
Shop” for several years in downtown Tishomingo and had worked as a nurses aide
in home health. She and her family also owned and operated the movie theatre in
Tishomingo.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter-in-law, Sabrina Combs.
Pat is survived by her husband Sam Combs, Sr. of the home, sons, Sam Combs, Jr.
of Tishomingo and Jay Combs and wife Lisa of Madill, Oklahoma, her daughter,
Natacha Crook and husband Randy of Kingston, Oklahoma, three sisters, Norma
Griffith of Norman, Oklahoma, Jeanette Mercer of Elmore City, Oklahoma and
Sharon Sweetman of Lexington, Oklahoma, her brother, Albert McGregor also of
Lexington, nine grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, other relatives and
friends.
Pallbearers for the service will be: Josh Scarlett, Gary Burkhalter, Nolen
Henry, Greg Padgett, Nathan Troxtell and J. W. Hale. Honorary Bearers will be:
Bill Tom Erichsen, Jim Upton, Johnny Holcomb, Charlie May, Sam Combs, III and
Randy Crook.
The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 3-5 pm at the funeral
home.
