Funeral Services for Mr. Bobby G. Cannon, 72, of Tishomingo
will be held on Monday, February 1, 2010 in the Clark Funeral Chapel with
Brother Jeremie Fisher officiating, assisted by Virgil Cannon. Interment will
follow in the Tishomingo Cemetery. Mr. Cannon passed away on Thursday, January
28th, at the Mercy Memorial Health Center in Ardmore.
Bobby was born on July 3, 1937 in Gladewater, Texas to Clyde Cannon and Oma
Casey Cannon. He grew up there and married Elizabeth Krebs on May 25, 1966. They
moved to Johnston County in 1982. He had been disabled for many years as the
result of a motorcycle accident.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Glenda Cannon.
Bobby is survived by his wife Liz, of the home; four sons & daughters-in-law,
Kelvin & Dusty Cannon, Reggie & Amanda Cannon, Chance & Kristie Cannon,all of
Tishomingo and Mike Pegues of Lafayette, Louisiana; his daughter, Britney Cannon
of Tishomingo; two brothers & a sister-in-law, Clyde Cannon of Quinlan, Texas
and Billy & Nell Cannon of Gladewater; three sisters, Muriel Huddleston of
Dallas, Opal Shaw & Dorothy Catron, both of Gladewater; fourteen grandchildren
and nine great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers for the service will be: Kelvin Cannon, James Bardin, Frank Benson,
Don Keel, Dodie Nanney and Keith Underwood.
