Funeral Services for Mrs. Beatrice “Bea” Campbell, 88, of
Tishomingo, Oklahoma will be held on Monday, August 3rd, 2015 in the Herb Clark
Memorial Chapel with Brother Tom Essary officiating. Interment will follow in
the Tishomingo Cemetery. Mrs. Campbell passed away on Friday, July 31st, 2015 at
her daughter’s home in the Bold Springs Community, north of Milburn, Oklahoma.
Bea was born on November 11th, 1926 in Wapanucka, Oklahoma to Thomas Franklin
Essary and Mary Ida (Ballard) Essary. She grew up in Johnston County and
graduated from Tishomingo High School. Bea married Mack Campbell on April 7th,
1947 in Sherman, Texas and spent most of her adult life in Norman, Oklahoma
where she worked as a medical clerk for the Central State Hospital, which is not
Griffin Memorial Hospital. She was a member of The Order of the Eastern Star, an
International Officer for The Women of the Moose, the Ravia Church of God and
enjoyed crocheting, crafts and ballroom dancing. She returned to Johnston County
in 2002.
Bea was preceded in death by her parents, her husband on July 2nd, 1983 and her
brother, Mac Essary.
Mrs. Campbell is survived by her daughter, Susan Branch and husband Charles of
Bold Springs, her son, Londell Campbell and wife Melissa of Okmulgee, Oklahoma,
two sisters, Marie Martin of Venice, Florida and Betty Dennis of Omaha, Texas,
three grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren
and other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers for the service will be: Randy Denton, David Scarberry, Johnny
Taylor, Lonnie Shelley, Darren Griffins and Duan Cavender.
