TISHOMINGO -- Services for Joy Straily Anthony, 75, will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Westside Church of Christ with Stuart Bailey officiating.
Interment will be at Tishomingo Cemetery under the direction of Clark Funeral Home.
Born December 27, 1928, in Crescent to the late John D. and Patsy R. Butler Straily, she died September 8, 2004, in Tishomingo.
Married to James T. "Tony" Anthony on March 11, 1944, in Oklahoma City.
She worked for many years at A&B Grocery and at Texas Instruments in Sherman in shipping/packing before she retired.
She was a member of Westside Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by a son, Billy Gene in 1997; a daughter, Joyce Lynn Russell in 1998; and a sister, Shirley Barker.
Survivors include her husband of the home; three sons, Randy, Milburn; John, Tishomingo; and Larry, Denison, Texas; two sisters, Fern Ozment and Jean Webb, Oklahoma City; a brother, Johnny Straily, Prescott, Arizona; thirteen grandchildren; and fifeen great-grandchildren.
Bearers will be Jason Ballinger, Jake and Michael Anthony, Brian Russell, Jamie Inman and Raymond Johnson. Honorary bearers are Shannon, Kevan and Dean Anthony, Preston Polston, Caison and Creed Ballinger, and Noah Wolff.
