CONNERVILLE -- Services for Pearline Alexander Carter will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Temple of God in Connerville, with Tony Poe officiating.
Interment will be at Seeley-Blue Cemetery under the direction of Clark Funeral Home, Tishomingo.
Wake services will be at 7:30 p.m. tonight at the church.
Born September 14, 1934, in Connerville to the late Efferson and Ida Ned Alexander, she died June 22, 2004, in Ardmore.
She attended Bloomfield Academy in Ardmore and was a lifelong resident of Johnston County.
She was a Pentecostal Holiness.
Survivors include her husband, Charlie, of the home; two daughters, Lorene Carter, Tishomingo; and Charlene Benson, Milburn; a son, David Fort, Connerville; two sisters, Virgie James, Connerville; and Leora Sealy, Roff; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Andrew Alexander.
Bearers will be Terry and Watson Wagon, Byars Baken, Steven and Rick Robertson, Daniel Colombus and Joe Payne. Honorary bearers are Allen Beck, Josh Wagon, Dale Catron, Tony Walker, Shannon Carter, Vernon Factor or Bob Benson.
