He is survived by his partner, Bill Lish, of Dallas, Texas; siblings, Peggy and husband, Ron Reeder, of Ardmore; Linda and husband, Kevin Cryer, of Kingston; Beverly and husband, Danny Doggett, of Joshua, Texas; Lorene Howard, of Marietta; Melba Erwin, of Kingston; Leo and wife, Margaret Sears, of Wilson; Lonnie and wife, Pearlene Sears, of Ardmore; Jackie and wife, Arelene of Cleburne, Texas; and great-nephew, Jakobi Johnson, whom he loved as his own. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Keith graduated from Springer High School in 1973. After serving in the U.S. Navy, he attended Murray State College and Southeastern Oklahoma State University. He was a long-time employee of Xerox. He retired after spending several years employed by Fluor Corporation in Iraq.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Barnett and Vallie (nee Camp) Sears; brother, Johnnie Sears; niece, Tammy Sears; and nephews, Claude Howard and Nathan Harrison.
A celebration of life is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 17.
Family and friends will meet between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. at the Candlewood Suites, 2602 Rina Park Road, Ardmore, OK 73401 for refreshments.
Memorial Graveside Services will follow at 2 PM in the Russett Cemetery in Mannsville.
Keith was a generous man who was respected and loved by all who knew him. Please feel free to share your thoughts and memories at the graveside.
