Dickie passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at his home in Wapanucka, OK. He attended and graduated from Wapanucka High School. Dickie was a farmer and rancher, and lead welder for the rock plants at Stringtown and Coleman. Was one of the best known at stacking hay in the hay barn and sometimes worked to hard at it and pushed the side out of the hay barn. Dickie was a christian and of the baptist faith. He loved deer hunting, fishing, dancing and hanging out and visiting with his grandchildren, family and friends.
Dickie is survived by his son, Bradley Upchurch and wife Tamara of Wapanucka, OK; grandchildren, Breanna Dubea and husband Taylor of Ft. Bragg, N.C., Carey Upchurch of Wapanucka, OK, Bradley Upchurch Jr. of Wapanucka, OK; great granddaughter, Blakelynn Leann Hanks of Ft. Bragg, N.C.; brother, David Upchurch and wife Rhonda of Bromide, OK; aunt, Vernice Overstreet of Midland, TX; along with nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many dear friends.
Dickie is preceded in death by his parents, Pete and Gail Upchurch; nephew, Devin Thomas Upchurch; niece, Heather Taylor.
