Thad married Clara Faye Smith on June 15, 1954, in McAlester, Oklahoma. They relocated to Oklahoma City in 1958, where they made their home for the next 63 years. Thad went to work at Oklahoma City Structural Steel Plant during the days, and Safeway Bakery at night for 30+ years. After his retirement from his two full-time jobs, he went to work at Enterprise Rental Car as a shuttle driver for 5 years, "just to keep busy," before he finally decided to fully retire. Thad and Clara had three children, Rhonda Wynona, Randall Thad, and Shai Lynn. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. Thad enjoyed going on family vacations over the years. He had a passion for fishing and hunting with all the boys.Funeral Service
