Services for Ora Bates, 82, of Ada, who passed away Friday, Jan. 23, 2009, in Ada, were held today at 10 a.m. at Rose Hill Cemetery in Wapanucka.

Ora was born April 10, 1926 to James and Viola (Nichols) Roberts.

Ora was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, James Edward Bates; and sisters Jimmie Justice and Ova Woods.

Ora is survived by her children, 13 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; sisters, brothers,  and other relatives.
