Graveside Services for Robert "Two
Feathers" Nanney, 62, of Ravia, Oklahoma will be held on
Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ravia
Cemetery with Pastor Jon Smith officiating. Mr. Nanney
passed away on Friday, October 9th, in Ravia. The family
will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6-8 pm at the
funeral home.
Robert was born on May 24, 1947 in Roswell, New Mexico to
Darvin Nanney and Flora Marie Horn Nanney. He graduated from
High School in Lovington, New Mexico and later his family
moved to Johnston County, where he lived the rest of his
life. He was a commercial painter and artist and an
accomplished musician.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister,
Darlene Foshee'.
Robert is survived by his son, Eddie (Nanney) Brannon and
his wife Angel of Atoka, Oklahoma; two brothers, Darvin "Dodie"
Nanney of Ravia and Mike Nanney of Oklahoma City; two
sisters, Ann Hacker of Hale Center, Texas and Monnie Rose of
Lehigh, Oklahoma; six grandsons, Mikl, Christian, Trey,
Tate, Abishai, and Elisia; other relatives and friends.
