Mrs. Hamill passed away on
February 21, 2017 at the Alliance Health facility in Durant, Oklahoma.
Diann was born on July 22, 1948 in Bromide, Oklahoma to Marvin Swain and
Willie Lee (Newton) Swain. She attended several schools in Oklahoma
eventually graduating from high school in Tecumseh. Oklahoma. She
married Allen Hamill on November 24, 1997 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas
and they returned to Johnston County 11 years ago. She had worked in
several bars in the area and she and Allen owned the "Mule Barn" in
Ravia at one time. Diann was of the Jehovah Witness faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Michael Dawn and a
granddaughter, Sunny LeDiann.
Diann is survived by her husband, Allen of the home; her daughter,
Suzeann Frawley and husband Rick of Royse City, Texas; her brother, Gary
Dean Swain and wife Shannon of Okay, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren; and
other relatives.
Casket Bearers for the service will be: Kenneth McDonald, Barry Shelton,
Allen Mayes, JR Phillips, Pernie McIver, and Gary Harris; Honorary
Bearers will be: Chuck Mayes, Kay Byars and Colorado Mike.
