RAVIA -- Services for Alyne Payne Gilbert, 82, will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Ravia Church of God with Jon Smith officiating.
Interment will be at Ravia Cemetery under the direction of Clark Funeral Home, Tishomingo.
Born January 31, 1922, to William and Daisy Underwood Payne in Tishomingo, she died August 15, 2004, in Tishomingo.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Geraldine Hornburger and Clementine "Chick" Gilliam; and a brother, William "Bill" Payne.
She married Harrison Gilbert on December 16, 1942.
She was a homemaker and member of the Ravia Church of God. She was also a Sunday school teacher and assisted with Vacation Bible School for many years.
Survivors include her husband, Harrison, of the home; three daughters, Daisy Benge and Connie Stevens, both of Ravia; and Evelyn Nelson, Tishomingo; two sons, Ernie Gilbert, Ravia; and Brad Gilbert, Kermit, Texas; a sister, Sadie Williams, Sulphur; fifteen grandchildren; twenty six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Her grandsons will be bearers.
