Mr. Cheesman passed
away on March 13, 2017 at his residence. The family will receive
friends on Thursday evening from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
Gary was born on February 6, 1957 in Waldron, Arkansas to Mearl Cheesman
and Betty (Starr) Cheesman. He grew up in this area and attended Ravia
Schools. Gary worked for several years for the Unimin Plant in Mill
Creek, Oklahoma as a miner. He enjoyed hunting and fishing as his
hobbies.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his companion, Kthy Hogburg; a
son, Quinton Cheesman; a brother Wayne and two sisters, Linda and
Janice.
Gary is survived by his daughter, Kylie Yoss and husband Michael of
Milburn, Oklahoma; his son, Jeremy Umsted of Ravia; grandchildren,
Whitney, Conner, Kaylie Bivings, Kaitlyn, Lacy, and Yancey Yoss; his
brother, Keith Cheesman; two sisters, Cathy Scarberry and husband David
and Sharon Hester.
Pallbearers for the service will be: Levi Pierce, Conner Bivings, Keith
Cheesman, Michael Yoss, Jay Lane and Jeremy Umsted. Honorary Bearers
will be: Tye Eason, Ray Johnston, Johnny Ruth, Bill Ramey and Jason
Nunez.
