Sharon W. Wallace, 75, of Madill,
Oklahoma passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at her home
surround by her family and friends.
She was born on March 3,
1948, in Tishomingo, Oklahoma to the late Virgil Tom Wallace and Tressie O Howell Wallace. Sharon grew up in Connerville,
Oklahoma where she attended school and graduated from McClish
High School in Fittstown, Oklahoma. She moved back to Tishomingo
working at the Tishomingo Hospital and later received her
Nursing Degree and worked as a phlebotomist as well. In 1977
Sharon moved to Marshall County where she started working for
Dr. McCuistion and for many other local Doctors. She retired
while working at Dr. Martens office. Sharon was affiliated with
of the Church of Christ, and she enjoy being with her family,
her grandchildren and loved her pets.
Sharon is survived by Partner:
Cecil Leroy “Rocky” Nelson, Madill, Oklahoma; Children: Tommy
Benson, Kingston, Oklahoma; Sherry Scarberry, Madill,
Oklahoma. Grandchildren: Tommy Benson Jr., Khori Mandrell and
Tesha Benson. 5 Great Grandchildren. Sister: Gertrude Brown,
Madill, Oklahoma; Margaret Hart, Madill, Oklahoma
Sharon was preceded in death by
her parents, brothers: H. O. Wallace, Ausbin Wallace, Glenn
Wallace and Roger Wallace.
Visitation will be Wednesday,
March 8, 2023, at the Watts Funeral Home, Madill, Oklahoma from
10:00 am to 8:00 pm with a family hour from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Funeral service will be Thursday,
March 9, 2023, at Watts Memorial Chapel, Madill, Oklahoma at
2:00 pm. Music arranged by Callie Hitchcock. Eric Ballou will
officiate the service. Interment will be at the Pontotoc
Cemetery, Pontotoc, Oklahoma. Services will be under the
direction of Watts Funeral Home, Madill, Oklahoma. Condolences
may be sent to wattsfuneralhome.com.
