Funeral Services for H. O. Wallace, 69, of Connerville, Oklahoma will be held
on Monday, April 19, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at the old Pontotoc High School Gymnasium
with Rev. David Browning officiating, assisted by Hilton Brumfield. Masonic
Rites will be conducted by the Pontotoc Masonic Lodge #136. Interment will
follow in the Pontotoc Cemetery. Mr. Wallace passed away on Friday, April 16th
at his home.
Harvey Othel Wallace was born on October 4, 1940 in Connerville to Virgil
Wallace and Tressie Howell Wallace. He graduated from Pontotoc High School and
married Barbara Hoggard on May 16, 1959 in Healdton, Oklahoma. He was a concrete
contractor working on many projects in Johnston County and other places. He was
also a member of the Pontotoc Masonic Lodge #136.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Virgil Glenn Wallace.
H. O. is survived by his wife Barbara, of the home; two sons, Steve Wallace and
Toby Wallace of Connerville; two brothers, Roger Wallace of Milburn and Ausbin
Wallace of Moore, Oklahoma; three sisters, Gertrude Brown of Madill, Sharon
Bearden of Enos and Margaret Hart, also of Madill; five grandchildren, Tanera,
Sierra, McKenzie, Taylor and Cody; six great-grandchildren; other relatives and
friends.
Pallbearers for the service will be: Ken Schultz, Eddy Ruth, Danny Jencik, Rick
Crane, Rock Crane and Mike Diggs. Honorary Bearers will be: Charles Wood, Bill
Woods, Bruce Woods,Bobby Stewart, John Hansen and Dennis Noahubbi.
