Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Nida, Oklahoma with Kevin Monjay, Eric Tyson, Daniel Alexander, Zack Belcher, Jody Belcher, and Randy Belcher serving as pall bearers. Honorary pall bearers are Cheyanne Alexander, Casey Blue, and Michelle Alexander.
Adam was born June 5, 1983 in Sulphur, Oklahoma to Terry Monjay and Jearline (Arnold) Monjay. Most of his childhood was spent in Sulphur until moving to Tishomingo in 2000. He was graduate of Mill Creek High School with the class of 2001. Adam worked as a welder and a truck driver during his life. His most recent job was working as a truck driver for Backyard Energy Services out of Kingfisher, Oklahoma. Adam enjoyed deer hunting and was crazy about arrow hunting. Most of all, he loved being a dad to his children. Adam was a great dad and loved his children dearly. Adam passed away February 6, 2020 in Marshall County at the age of 36 years, 8 months, and 1 day.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Justin Monjay.
He is survived by parents, Terry and Jearline Monjay of Tishomingo; a son, Ryan Monjay; daughters, Kelsey Monjay, Kamryn Monjay, and Bentley Monjay; brother Kevin Monjay of Sulphur; sisters, Terri Abercrombe of Stillwater, and Linda Griggs of Oklahoma City.
