Funeral Services for Mr. James Hotema,55, of Norman, Oklahoma will be held on Friday, September 15, 2017 at 1:00 p. m. in the Herb Clark Memorial Chapel with Brother Tony Poe officiating.

Interment will follow in the Mill Creek Cemetery.

Mr. Hotema passed away on September 10, 2017 at the Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City. James was born on August 4, 1962 in Oakland, California to Cyrus Solomon Hotema and Georgine Alice (Ware) Hotema. He grew up and attended school in Texas, later moving to Oklahoma where he lived in Sulphur, Oklahoma until moving to Norman. James worked as an auto mechanic most of his adult life.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Jamie; a son, Jonathan and two brothers, Michael and Frank.

James is survived by two sons, James Montana Hotema and wife Lydia and Thomas Christopher Hotema; his daughter, Samantha Jo Woodruff and husband Jeremiah; his grandchildren, Clark, Ethan, Randy, Carlee, Jordan, Mattie, Anna, T. J., Shoshana and Elizah; two brothers, Benny Hotema and Bobby Hotema; and other relatives. Casket Bearers will be: Montana Hotema, Thomas Glenn Carter, Scotty Latshaw, Mikey Hotema, Victor Hotema and Benji Hotema.
