Mrs. Hotema passed away on May 4th, at the Arbuckle Memorial Hospital in Sulphur, Oklahoma. Geogine was born on September 22nd, 1930 in Hog Creek, Oklahoma to Ralph Ware, Sr. and Mildred Kaubin Ware. She graduated from Hobart, Oklahoma High School and attended Bacone Junior College for one year. She was a member of the Kiowa Native American Tribe and was chosen as the Kiowa Princess in her younger years.
She married Cyrus Hotema on August 4,1950 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma and he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a son, Frank Solomon, Jr.; and five siblings.
Mrs. Hotema is survived by four sons, Michael Hotema, Sr. of Oklahoma City, Benny Ray Hotema of Muskogee, Oklahoma, Bob Hotema and James Hotema, both of Mill Creek; twelve grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives. Pallbearers for the service will be: Benji Hotema, Michael Hotema, Jr., Garrett Hotema, Jonathan Hotema, Thomas Hotema and Montana Hotema.
