Funeral Services for Fannie Irene Farmer, 79, of Mill Creek,
Oklahoma will be held on Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Mill
Creek Baptist Church with Pastor Jon Smith officiating, assisted by Pastor Claud
Williams. Interment will follow in the Mill Creek Cemetery. Mrs. Farmer passed
away on Friday, October 23rd at the Mercy Memorial Health Center in Ardmore.
Irene was born on August 27, 1930 in Lehigh, Oklahoma to Vincent "Chance"
Beratto, Sr. and Ethel Caldwell Beratto. She attended Lehigh Schools and married
Pat Farmer on October 28, 1950 in Coalgate, Oklahoma. Mrs. Farmer was a
homemaker and lifelong resident of this area.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on December 14, 1997; her
brother, Vincent Beratto, Jr.; and her sister, Laura Heath.
Mrs. Farmer is survived by her children, Patsy Payne, Linda Stephens, Kathy
Ritchie, Pat Farmer, Jr., Pete Farmer, Larry Farmer and Melvin Farmer, all of
MIll Creek; three brothers, Curtis Beratto of Mill Creek, Hubert Beratto of
Mannford,Oklahoma and Charlie Beratto of Lehigh; one sister, Rose Nanney of
Ravia; sixteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces,
nephews and other relatives.
