Mrs. Brewer passed away on March
20th, 2015 at the Blue River Health Care facility in Tishomingo.
Nadine was born on April 12th, 1938 in Durant, Oklahoma to Essie A.
Davis and Maudie (Hudgens) Davis. She grew up and attended school in
Durant and after finishing her schooling, she met and married J. W.
Brewer on April 20th, 1956 in Hobbs, New Mexico. They lived in many
parts of the United States and overseas for several years and moved to
Johnston County in 1986 from Montana. Mrs. Brewer enjoyed reading the
bible, collecting troll dolls and crystal and crocheting. She was also a
member of the Church of God for over 50 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers, R. C., Noble,
James, Norvell, Dewey and Larry Davis and two sisters, Frankie Meeker
and Maudell Stover.
Mrs. Brewer is survived by her husband J. W., of the home, two sons,
Bobby Brewer of Ft. Worth, Texas and James Brewer of Springtown, Texas,
two daughters, Sherrie Brewer-Davis of Euless, Texas and Linda Kaye
Gibson of Saraland, Alabama, her sisters, Gracie King of Lawton,
Oklahoma, nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, other relatives
and friends.
Visitation with viewing will be held on Monday, March 23rd from 8:30 am
until 5 pm and on Tuesday from 8:30 am until service time.
