Funeral Services for Mrs. Martha Ellen Beratto, 71, of Mill
Creek, Oklahoma will be held on Thursday, December 10, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the
First Baptist Church in Mill Creek with Rev. Claud Williams officiating.
Interment will follow in the Mill Creek Cemetery. Mrs. Beratto passed away on
Sunday, December 6th, at the Hillcrest Care Center in Tishomingo.
She was born on April 25, 1938 in Non, Oklahoma to Newman Owens and Lucille
Montgomery Owens. She grew up in this area and married Curtis Beratto on June 1,
1956 in Coalgate, Oklahoma. Mrs. Beratto worked for Delta Mining and later the
Unimin Company in the Tool Supply Department, retiring after many years of
service. She passed away on Sunday, December 6th at the Hillcrest Care Center in
Tishomingo at the age of 71 years, 7 months and 11 days.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Travis & Don Owens and
two sisters, Sharon Harris and Lois Pendleton.
Mrs. Beratto is survived by her husband, Curtis of the home; her children &
their spouses, Steve & Sharon Beratto, Jerry & Tonya Beratto and Chance & Becky
Beratto, all of Mill Creek, and Kelly & Sonja Beratto of Rock Springs, Wyoming;
her sister, Mayvce Hall of Coalgate, Oklahoma; her niece, JoAnn Hughes of Mill
Creek; eight grandchildren, Sarah Celeste Beratto, Steven Chase Beratto, Desmon
Curtis Beratto, Chandra Nakole Beratto, Garrett Wayne Beratto, Tasha LeAnn
Farley, Bryce Keith Beratto, Christian Shane Beratto and Willis Craig Hughes;
other relatives and friends.
