Services for Dora Mae Hamilton, 73, of Mill Creek, OK are 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at the Chickasaw Community Center; Rev. Don Jacob will officiate.  

Burial will follow at Mill Creek Cemetery. A wake will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Monday at Criswell Funeral Home.


Mrs. Hamilton passed away Thursday, August 8, 2024 in Oklahoma City.  She was born March 29, 1951, in Talihina, OK to Joseph and Minnie Allen Shields.


Mrs. Hamiton loved shopping and spending time with her grandchildren and great granddaughter.


Survivors are her daughter, Sherri Miller and husband, Rick of Ada; seven sisters, Rose Jefferson, Louise Shields, Carol Fox, Mary Whitecloud, Marla Key, Imogene Walker, all of Ada, and Gayle Clark of Mill Creek; three grandchildren, Makynlee Miller, Cydnee Miller and Madalyn Jessepe; and one great grandchild, Walker Bevers.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hamilton; her parents; son, Steven Hamilton; and five brothers, Charles Shields, Harland Shields, Kent Shields, Simon Shields, and Henry Shields.


Bearers are Clovis Hamilton, Gary Walker, Jr., Matt Clark, David Weaver, Steve Jacob, and Billy Reid.
