Funeral Services for Julia Dean "Julie" Williams, 51, of Mannsville, Oklahoma
will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Clark Funeral
Chapel with Rev. Kay Buchanan officiating. Interment will follow in the
Mannsville Cemetery. Mrs. Williams passed away on Tuesday, October 2oth, at her
home.
Julie was born on September 9, 1958 in Durant, Oklahoma to Charles Dodds and
Ethel Marie Benefield. She graduated from high school in Jay, Oklahoma and later
attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant. She married Vernon
Williams on July 10, 2003 in Sherman, Texas and had lived in Marshall and
Johnston Counties for most of her life. Julie was a homemaker and enjoyed
gardening as one of her hobbies.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Dodds in 1994 and a brother,
Jim Dodds in 1998.
She is survived by her husband Vernon, of the home; two sons, Joshua Dodds and
Jeremy Martin, both of Mannsville; her mother, Ethel Price of Madill; two
brothers, Jerry Dodds and his wife Cindy, of the Russett community and Gene
Dodds of Madill; other relatives and friends.
