David Lee Bynum, 69, of Dickson, Oklahoma passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2023, at his home in Dickson. He was born on July 9, 1954, in Ardmore, Oklahoma to the late Charley Bynum and Hazel Pauline Richey Bynum.
 
David was raised in Mannsville and graduated from Dickson High School, Dickson, Oklahoma in 1973. He married Cynthia “Cindi” Lynn Huey on May 28, 1976, in Dickson and she preceded him in death on December 17, 2008. David was a lifelong resident of Mannsville and a beloved member of the Dickson community where all the kids knew him as “Pa”. He was the life of the party and he always made everyone feel welcome. David loved playing practical jokes and had a fun sense of humor. His hobbies were watching Dickson Comet sporting events, and OU football.  His greatest love was spending time with his grandchildren and aggravating all his family, friends, and co-workers. David has missed the love of his life Cindi for 15 years and now they are reunited.      
 
David is survived by Children: Shane Bynum and wife Tisha, Sulphur, Oklahoma; Cody Bynum and wife Nataly, Ardmore, Oklahoma; Sabrina Bynum, Ardmore, Oklahoma; Shacodah Bynum, Ardmore, Oklahoma. Grandchildren: Jaden Alexander, Houston Bynum, Ryder Bynum, Jericho Bynum, Landrie Bynum. Sister: Linda Eastman and husband Sherwood, Yale, Oklahoma; Kay Hillis, Ardmore, Oklahoma.
 
David was preceded by his parents, wife, 1 son: Charles David Bynum.   
 
Casket Bearers: Jerren Preston, Logan Howe, Jeremiah Woodruff, Bruce Lynch, Ryan Thomason and Matt James
 
Honorary Bearers: Weldon Barnes, Ken Hillis, Josh Gleason, Kenny Bynum, Herbie Bynum, Sherwood Eastman, Keith Eastman, Mike Eastman, Walter Richey, Jeff Bynum.
