Ethan Scott "Scotty" Sliger, 32, of Tishomingo, Oklahoma, passed away on July 2, 2024, at Medical City Hospital in McKinney, Texas. Scotty was born on September 15, 1991, in Ardmore, Oklahoma, to Donald Wayne Sliger and Bobbi Sue Dorer.
 
Scotty spent his early years in Mannsville, Oklahoma, where he attended school and graduated from Dickson High School in 2009. He pursued a career as a welder in the oil fields, traveling across South Texas and working for various companies. Scotty was affiliated with the Little City Baptist Church, He found joy in working on the farm, hunting, and shooting guns. His greatest joy was spending time with his nephews, Daxtyn and Jack and his family.
 
He is survived by  Mother: Bobbi Dorer and significant other: Ronnie Wright of Tishomingo, Oklahoma; . Father and stepmother: Donald Sliger and his wife Angela of Kingston, Oklahoma. Siblings: Brandon Sliger and his wife Jordyne of Lebanon, Oklahoma; Hunter Sliger of Madill, Oklahoma; Cassidy Sliger of Kingston, Oklahoma; and Hailee Hawkins of Courtney, Oklahoma.
 
Grandparents: Wayne and Anna Sliger of Lebanon, Oklahoma.  Nieces and nephews: Daxtyn, Jack, Kalianna, Beau, Gauge, Rhyleigh, Remington, and Laiklyn.
 
Scotty was preceded in death by his grandparents Perry Alfred Dorer, Wanda Jo and John Melkovitz, as well as his uncle Perry Dorer.
 
Casket Bearers:         Casey Lee, Dillon McCurry, Keegun Laymance, Brian Muncrief, Pepper Melton, Tyler Waggoner, Kody Renshaw, Landon Hawkins
 
Honorary Bearers:    Garren Clement, Joey Marionneaux, Wayne Waggoner, Hunter Sliger,  Daxtyn Sliger, Remington Hawkins
