She was born on May 31, 1930, in Pineville, Arkansas to the late Henry Grason Wood and Winnie Frances Smith Wood. Clarine grew up in Marshall County and graduated from Kingston High School in 1948 where she was valedictorian. She married Fred Junior Bearden on December 24, 1949, in Madill and he preceded her in death on May 8, 1991. Clarine lived most of her life in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma where she worked for DHS for 25 years retiring in 1992. She moved back to the Madill and Kingston in 1995. Clarine was affiliated with the Church of Christ and enjoyed cooking, reading western books, watching the Price is Right and Wheel of Fortune.
