Funeral Services to honor and celebrate the life of C.D. Scribner will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at DeArman-Clark Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment to follow at Fillmore Cemetery.

C.D. Scribner gained his wings and went to Heaven at the age of 94 on November 1, 2019 in Tishomingo, Oklahoma surrounded by his loving family.

C.D. was born on September 7, 1925 in Johnston County to parents Henry and Lessie (Selby) Scribner. He spent his years working with heavy equipment and machinery and also doing some ranching. A War World II Veteran, he proudly served our country in the United States Army and nothing made him prouder than that of the American Flag waving. C.D. was a godly, kind hearted, loving man who enjoyed going to church and adored his church family. He enjoyed preaching and teaching people the word of God which he did for over 70 years. Casting a few lines, camping and traveling were a few of his favorite things to do to get away and enjoy his time off. More than anything, C.D. loved being around his wife, children, grandchildren and friends. No matter what they were doing if they were spending time together, he was as happy as he could be.

C.D. is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Lessie Scribner; brothers, Buddy Scribner; Leroy Scribner, B.F. Scribner; sister, Linda Scribner.

Those he leaves to cherish his memories is his loving wife, Wanda Scribner; children, Ronnie Scribner, Gevonna Sanders, Sidney Phillips and wife Karen, 6 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Louise Ryann, Berta Williams; brothers, Donald Scribner, Willie Scribner and a host of other family and friends who will deeply miss him.
