Services for Robert Clifford “Bob” Williams, 82, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 1, 2024 at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel; Rev. Phillip Mullins and Calvin Prince will officiate.  

Burial will follow at Connerville Cemetery.

Mr. William’s passed away Thursday, June 27, 2024 at his home surrounded by his family.  He was born August 22, 1941 at Eureka in Coal County to Frank and Elsie Chambers Williams.  He formerly worked for the Ada Police Department and later retired from East Central University.


Mr. William’s is survived by his wife, Barbara of the home; son, Bob Williams, Jr. and wife, Dianna; daughter, Laura Steele and partner, Daryl Sawyer; two sisters, Treva Gurley and husband, Wendell and Norma Young and husband, Vernon; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.


He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Vicki Scott.


Bearers will be his grandsons and great grandsons.
