Ada-Services for Karen Denise Vanderburg, 52, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Mr. Ed Poblete will officiate.
Burial will follow at Connerville Cemetery.
Mrs. Vanderburg died Monday September 14, 2015 in Ada. She was born March 29,
1963 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Alex Lee Arles and Hellen Marie Rolen Arles.
She is married to James Jackson Nichols. She is a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, James Nichols of the home; three children, Chris
Arles, Lise Vanderburg and Sandra Johnson all of Ada; father of the children,
Alvin Vanderburg; twelve grandchildren, Justize Vanderburg, Logan Alexander,
Terron Daniels, Darrius Vanderburg, Miliey Elrod, Kay Kay Elrod, Clifton
“Fathead” Elrod, Carson Elrod, Shilkhi Vanderburg, Isaiah Elrod, Alex Elrod and
Mariah Elrod; one brother, Dewayne Arles of Ada.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Arles, Mike Arles, Dennis
Arles, Floyd Arles, Donna Arles and Sheila Arles.
Bearers will be Johnny Elrod, Clifton Elrod, Tank Moore, Bobby Arles, Nathan
Arles and Ben McIntosh. Honorary bearers will be Home 13 and Pee Wee Elrod.
