Memorial Services for Ada Elizabeth Hutchins, 60, of Tishomingo will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Kenneth McCarthick officiating, assisted by Rev. Chopper McCartney. A Private Family Burial will be held later at the Connerville Cemetery. Mrs. Hutchins passed away on Monday, November 16th, at the Mercy Memorial Health Center in Ardmore.

Ada Liz was born on March 12, 1949 in Tishomingo to Don Raper and Nada Lorenza Gray Raper. She grew up in this area and graduated from Tishomingo High School in 1967. During her working career, she worked at the Veteran's Hospital in Sulphur, for The Halliburton Company in Davis and as a Deputy Court Clerk in Murray County, from which she retired. Ada Liz married Larry J. Hutchins on September 13, 2003 in Tishomingo and they attended the Bullard Chapel Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Chloeta Lester in December of 1996 and two infant brothers. She is survived by her husband Larry, of the home; three sons, Roy Wayne Blevins and his wife Carrie, of Connerville, Toby Blevins and his wife Susan, of Sulphur and Dawell Blevins of Lindsay; eightteen grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
