Funeral Services for Ms. Lillie Irene McQueen, 55, of the
Bee/Butcher Pen Community will be held on Thursday, April 2nd, 2015 in the Herb
Clark Memorial Chapel in Tishomingo, Oklahoma with Rev. Richard Corn
officiating. Interment will follow in the Coleman Cemetery. Ms. McQueen passed
away on March 29th, 2015 at the Mercy Hospital in Ardmore, Oklahoma.
Lillie was born on February 3rd, 1960 in McKinney, Texas to Marvin Lowe, Sr. and
Reable (Bates) Lowe. She grew up in the Plano, Texas area and graduated from
high school there in 1978, later moving to Johnston County in 1983. Lillie
worked as a C. M. A. in Health Care for a few years and for the Bee/Butcher Pen
Volunteer Fire Department, of which she served as Fire Chief for several years.
She had attended the Butcher Pen Baptist Mission and the First Baptist Church in
Tishomingo.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Freddie McQueen, Sr. and a brother,
Micheal Lowe.
Lillie is survived by her son, Freddie McQueen, Jr. of the home, her parents,
Marvin and Reable Lowe of Butcher Pen, two sisters, Reba Hadley and husband
Bruce of Bedford, Texas and Amelia Magruder and husband Jeremy of Butcher Pen,
her brother, Marvin Lowe, Jr. and wife Tina of Tishomingo, her close friend,
Steven Williams of Butcher Pen, numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and
nephews, other relatives and friends.
Serving as Pallbearers for the service will be Johnston County Fire Fighters.
