D. J. HORATH OBITUARY

D. J. Horath, age 74, a Caddo, Oklahoma resident.
He was born on Saturday, March 12, 1938, to Tobe and Willie Belle Needham Horath, at Atoka, Oklahoma.
D. J. passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2012 at Caddo, Oklahoma.
He attended Hopewell School and was a farmer and rancher.
He worked for Kimbell Feeds, Durant Feed Mill, and owned and operated several restaurants in the area.
He married Barbara Sue Allen on January 4, 1976 at Kenfic, Oklahoma.
D. J. was a longtime member and pastor at the Fillmore Baptist Church, he liked to fish, garden, play dominoes, and spend time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Sue Horath of the home in Caney, Oklahoma; children, Jimmy Don Horath and wife Susie of Coalgate, Oklahoma; Danny Joe Lynch and wife Dee of Colorado Springs, Colorado; D. John Horath and wife Jackie of Coleman, Oklahoma; Dee Ann Henry and husband Steve of Caney, Oklahoma; Anita Hokett and husband Keith of Caney, Oklahoma; Karen Peaker and husband Kevin of Bakersfield, California; fourteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
D. J. was preceded in death by his parents, Tobe and Willie Belle Needham Horath and brother, Billy T. Horath.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 4, 2012 at Fillmore Baptist Church. Rev. Jeff McCreary and Jamison Joines are officiating.
Interment will be at Coleman Cemetery, Coleman, Oklahoma.
Family hour will be today from 6-8 p.m.
