Graveside services for Effie C. Williams, 89, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Condon Grove Cemetery with Bob Page officiating.        
 
Mrs. Williams was born Aug. 30, 1910, at Wapanucka, to William M. and Willie Bradford Bone. She died April 12, 2000, in Tishomingo.

She moved to California as a child with her family and returned to Johnston County in 1939. She was a homemaker and member of Milburn Church of Christ. She and John W. Williams were married in 1929, at Blanchard.

Survivors include grandchildren, Billie and Debbie Williams of Milburn, Patricia Williams and Frank Wright of Tishomingo, and DeWayne Williams also of Milburn; eight great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Alene Dollar of Tishomingo.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Jessie Davidson, Altha Dollar, Daisy Shepard and Mattie Ann Bone; and two brothers, Wesley Bone and Hubert James Bone.

Bearers will be "Hot Shot" Pidgue, Frank Wright, John Brown Jr., E.J. Williams, Harvey Black, Danny Cagle and Jackie Newton.
