MILBURN -- Services for Violet Lea Phifer Willard, 87, will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Milburn Baptist Church.
Interment will follow at Condon Grove Cemetery.
Born March 18, 1917, in Ardmore to Burt and Earvie Buchanan Phifer, she died July 31, 2004 in Oklahoma City.
She married Arlton Willard in 1933 in Marietta. He preceded her in death on February 9, 1982. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Richard Daryl Willard and Meryl Wayne Willard, two brothers, two sisters and several grandchildren.
She lived in Johnston County for more than 60 years.
She was a beautician and owned her own shop.
She was a member of Milburn Baptist Church.
Survivors include five daughters, Nakeeta Nichols and Norma Chaney, both of Tishomingo; Antoinette Ardery, Salina, Kansas; Joyce Kopczynski, McKinney, Texas; and Susan Driggers, Bowlegs; a son, Royce Willard, Tishomingo; a sister, Gussie Phifer, Milburn; twenty seven grandchildren; thirty four great-grandchildren; and eleven great-great-grandchildren.
Bearers are her grandsons.
Services are under the direction of Clark Funeral Home.
