Interment will follow in the Condon Grove Cemetery in Milburn, Oklahoma.
Mr. Ray passed away on July 28th, at the Johnston Memorial Hospital. L. V. was born on October 29, 1921 in Ravia, Oklahoma to William H. Ray and Armenta Garner Ray. He attended school in Wynnewood, Oklahoma and Winslow, Arkansas and served in the United States Navy during WWII. He was a lineman for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, retiring with over 30 years of service. He lived in Johnston County for most of his life.
L. V. was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Mamie & Roxie and three brothers, Glenn, Jim and Ernest.
He is survived by three daughters, Tresia Hamilton of Lexington,
Oklahoma, Connie Barnes of Choctaw, Oklahoma and Kelley Summers of
Tishomingo; Also, five grandchildren.
Pallbearers for the service will be: Jr. Boulton, Mike Lovett, Joe Bill
Caskey, Jeff Caskey, Danny Daniels and Vernon Daniels. Honorary Bearers
will be: Tony Anthony, Bill Thomas and Charlie May.
