Graveside Services for Ms. Barbara Taylor Pidgue, 67, of
Fillmore, Oklahoma will be held on Thursday, May 22nd, 2014 at the Condon Grove
Cemetery in Milburn, Oklahoma. Ms.Pidgue passed away on May 19th, 2014 at her
daughter's home in Yantis, Texas.
Barbara was born on September 3rd, 1946 in Ennis, Texas to Roy Raymond Taylor
and Lula Mae (Jordan) Taylor. She grew up in Ennis and graduated from high
school there. Later, she attended business college where she studied the banking
industry. Barbara worked for many years as a bookkeeper in the banking business.
She married Kenneth Pidgue on April 24th, 1988 in Wilmer, Texas and they moved
to Johnston County in 1995. Kenneth preceded her in death on November 29th,
2011. She was also a member of the Fillmore Missionary Baptist Church. Barbara's
parents also preceded her in death.
She is survived by three daughters, Darla Helm of Lancaster, Texas, Sheila Howle-Kay
and Lisa Howle, both of Yantis, two brothers, Harold Taylor of Ft. Worth, Texas
and Arnold Taylor of Ennis, her sister, Patsy Zabojnik, also of Ennis, five
grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6-7 pm at the funeral
home.
