He was born Friday, March 7, 1930, in Milburn to Simon Jacob and Gladis Ada (Davis) Isenberg. He married Susie Webb Nov. 17, 1979, in Durant. He was a lifelong resident of Bryan County, a farmer and a carrier. He was a member of the Pleasant View Freewill Baptist Church for more than 20 years. He was a very loving husband and wonderful grandfather. His personality was very warm, loving and Christian-like in every way. His home was always open to anyone.
He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Fern Isenberg on Oct. 8, 1978, brothers Shorty, Hershel, Bobby, Charlie and C.W. and sisters Opal Stevens and Alma Isenberg.He is survived by his wife of the home; sons Wesley Isenberg and wife Robbin, Arvada, Colo., Ronnie Isenberg and wife Jennia, Satanta, Kan., John Isenberg and wife Jodi, Ardmore, Jerry Reeder, Denison, Texas, and Danny Reeder and wife Marie, Kenefic; daughters Sandra Northcutt and husband Randy, Denison, and Karen Kitchens and husband Wayne, Kenefic; brother Gene Isenberg, Porter, Texas; sisters Billie Smith, Ravia, and Marie Willis, Ada; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Condon Grove Cemetery with pallbearers Milford Powell, James Stanley, Jack Layton, Adrian Stanley, Lloyd Owens and David Strickland.Family hour will be from 7-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
