Funeral Services for Agnes Brown Detenancour, 74, of Dallas,
Texas will be held on Friday, October 30, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the Clark Funeral
Chapel with Brother Jerry Imotichey officiating. Interment will follow in the
Condon Grove Cemetery in Milburn, Oklahoma. Mrs. Detenancour passed away on
Saturday, October 24th, in Dallas.
Agnes was born on November 16, 1934 in Fillmore, Oklahoma to Mitchell Brown and
Victoria Underwood Brown. She attneded Fillmore and Milburn schools, later
moving to Dallas, Texas where she lived most of her life. Mrs. Detenancour
worked as a lab technician in the vision industry and was employed with C & H
Contact Lens Company at the time of her retirement in 2000.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister,
Jincy Sherrell.
Mrs. Detenancour is survived by her children, Eleanor Jones, Norman Detenancour,
and Micheal Detenancour, all of Dallas; three sisters, Mina Hill of Fillmore,
Patricia Wilkinson of Healdton, Oklahoma and Geneva Franco of Dallas; her
brother, R. J. Brown of Fillmore; four grandchildren, Jacob Jones, Tiffany
Jones, Shawn Detenancour and Joseph Jones. Also, other relatives and friends.
