Funeral Services for Mr. Jody F. Brown, 62, of Tishomingo,
Oklahoma will be held on Saturday, August 22nd, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the First
Baptist Church in Milburn, Oklahoma with Brother Allen Beck officiating.
Interment will follow in the Condon Grove Cemetery. Mr. Brown passed away on
August 19th, 2015 at his home.
Jody was born on January 1st, 1953 in Tishomingo to Thompson Brown, Jr. and
Bobby Frank (Rackley) Brown. He grew up in this area and graduated from Milburn
High School. After graduation, he served in the United State Air Force and was
Honorably Discharged after two years of service. He married Beverly Jones on
July 1st, 1986 in Milburn. Jody worked as a welder for W/W Trailers for 13 years
and for S & H trailers for 15 years, until his retirement. He was also a proud
member of the Chickasaw Nation. Jody was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife Beverly, of the home, two daughters, Jodie Ann Ragan
and husband Callen, of Fillmore, Oklahoma and Maudie Catherine Blevins and
husband Tobias of Konawa, Oklahoma, his son, Rick Bigford of Tishomingo, his
sisters, Maudie Reed and husband Bud of Mannford, Oklahoma, his brother, Tommy
Brown of Ravia, Oklahoma, five grandchildren and other relatives.
Pallbearers for the service will be: Dallas Williams, Ray Harris, Justin Harris,
Michael Brown, Dale Brown and Brandon Brown. Honorary Bearers will be: Rick
Bigford, Tobias Blevins, Callen Ragan, Ernest Gray, Bobby Moore and Billy
Williams.
The family will receive friends from 6-7 pm Friday evening at the funeral home.
