(permission granted)

Wallace Evert Branch, age 88, of Fillmore, Oklahoma, was promoted from earthly being to eternal worshiper of Jesus Christ, January 4, 2020. Wallace was surrounded by his family as he made the transition into heaven.

Born August 4, 1931, in Seymour, Texas, he was the son of the late Walter and Effie Branch. Wallace, a retired truck driver, loved farming animals, especially horses, hunting, fishing, and playing forty-two and Wahoo. He was a committed husband who served his bride faithfully and sacrificially visiting her every day for years while dementia slowly stole her away. He was a committed father and provider for his family and demonstrated to his children daily how to live an honest, ethical life. Wallace was a servant and giver to others; a generous, honest, and genuine man. His sincere commitment to relationships resulted in a long list of lifelong friendships, some of which were his siblings. His word was infallible. When Wallace committed to do something, you could count on it being done 100% of the time.

Wallace was preceded in death by his wife of fifty-eight years Joyce Branch, brother, James Branch, sisters Fannie Rogers, Birda Fay Carter, and Mildred Lee.

He is survived by his children LaJuana Green and husband Mike of Wylie, Texas, Darlene Williams of Tyler, Texas, Eva Moore and husband Ronnie of Fillmore, Oklahoma, Steven Branch and wife Kelly of Highland Village, Texas and Peggy Dupree and husband Joe of Calera, Oklahoma. Grandchildren Sherry McEuen, Tina Hughes, Jennifer Petty, Samantha Green, John Andricopoulos, Kathryn Comer, Kristina McClain, Dustin Moore, Mitchell Branch, Craig Northcutt, Cody Northcutt, Lance Branch, Holly Morrison, Stacie Ross and Tracie Trosper as well as thirty-three great grandchildren and eighteen great, great grandchildren. Wallace is also survived by siblings George Branch, Mary Ann Tucker, Marie Hill, Johnny Branch, and David Branch and treasured nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, January 9, 2020 at Milburn First Baptist Church, 101 7th St, Milburn, OK 73450.

We welcome our friends to visit with the family at DeArman Clark Funeral Home, 305 E Main St, Tishomingo, OK 73460 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, January 8, 2020. Those serving as pallbearers for the service will be Jennifer Petty, Kristina McClain, Holly Morrison, Mitchell Branch, John Andricopoulos, and Royce Hix.
