Funeral Services for Mr. Charles W. Branch, 65, of the Bold Springs Community, north of Milburn, Oklahoma will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 2:00 p. m. at the First Baptist Church in Milburn with Brother John Branch officiating, assisted by Brother Robert Kinney.

Interment will follow in the Bold Springs Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6-8 pm at the Church. Mr. Branch passed away on September 28, 2016 at the Alliance Health Center in Durant, Oklahoma.

Charles was born on February 12, 1951 in Tishomingo, Oklahoma to George B. Branch and Leta Mae (Warren) Branch. He attended Milburn Schools and graduated from high school there in 1969. He began his military service in the United States Air Force on February 10, 1970 and married Susan Campbell on December 19, 1970 in Norman, Oklahoma. He was Honorably Discharged from the Armed Forces in 1974 and he returned to Johnston County in 1978. Charles worked as a mechanic at the Uniroyal Tire Plant in Ardmore, Oklahoma, retiring with 32 years of service. He enjoyed working with wood at one of his hobbies.

Charles was preceded in death by his mother.

He is survived by his father, George Branch of Bold Springs; wife Susan, of the home; his son, Chris Branch of Bold Springs; his sister, Rita Bolin and husband Steve of Tishomingo; four grandchildren, Kami Elkins and husband John of Milburn, Chelsi Black of Dickson, Oklahoma, Logan and Landon Branch of Tishomingo; four great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends. Pallbearers for the service will be: Ronnie Moore, Richie Harres, John Elkins, Jerry Black, Richard Smith and Doug Phelps.
