Funeral service for David Daniel Holt, 72, Hollis, Oklahoma will be at the Church of Christ, Hollis, on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at 2:00 PM with Cory Johnson officiating. Burial will be at the Rock Cemetery, Duke, Oklahoma under the direction of Harmon County Funeral Home, Hollis.
Mr. Holt passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2015 in Hollis, OK.
David Daniel Holt was born to John William and Wilda (Lemons) Holt in Vernon, Texas on November 7, 1943. He earned his GED while serving in the US Army. He married Gracie Carpenter in April 1968 and to this union they had a daughter, Debra. He later married Crystal Thomas in Hollis on February 19, 2000 and they made their home in Hollis. He was a machinist and welder for several cotton oil plants and farmed with David Smith. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and reading.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers; Bill Brewer and John Holt; and one niece Donna Holt.
Survivors include his wife, Crystal of the home; a daughter, Debra and husband Tyler Moore of Allen, Oklahoma; two step daughters, Angela and husband Chris Stoddard of Hollis and Lindsey Ishcomer of Altus; four grandchildren McKenzie, Justin, Mason, and Dylan; three great grandchildren, Braedyn, Maddy, and Luke; three sisters; five brothers, two nieces Naomi Crow and Suzie Holt; one nephew Robert Holt, Jr. and many other great nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, especially Gary and Donna Lewis and their son Jeffrey.
