The funeral for Jon Paul Morrison, 40, of Waukomis, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 3, 2012, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Eric Keller officiating. Burial will be 3:30 p.m. in Navajo Cemetery, east of Altus.
Jon was born to Roger and Pamela (Oglesby) Morrison April 23, 1971, in Oklahoma City, and died Friday, December 30, 2011, as a result of an automobile accident.
Jon grew up in Enid, and graduated from Enid High School. He was an auto body tech for Dave’s Collision in Waukomis. Jon attended Oakwood Christian Church, and he loved helping others.
Jon was a good father and is survived by his three children, whom he loved very much: Maverick Rork of Oklahoma City and Zoie Morrison and Brylea Lind, both of Perkins. He is also survived by his father, Roger Morrison of Enid, and sister, Jennifer Morrison of South Carolina. He was preceded in death by his mother Pamela.
