Joe Mynhier a longtime Henryetta resident passed away on July 10, 2006 in henryetta at the age of 73. Born February 20, 1933 in Weleetka,OK. Joe worked in various positions in the Oil Field Industry. He was a member and a Deacon at the First Baptist Church where he worked as the custodian for many years. He also worked at the Beymer Motor Company for 18 years. Joe was a lay minister filling in where and whenever needed. He often would fill in for his pastor and conduct services at the nursing home.

He married Nina Rogers on 3-16-1952 in Henryetta.

Joe is preceded in death by his biological parents Fred and Rebecca Mangram, His adapted parents Bill and Emma Mynhier. Three brothers; Brownie, Chess and Jack Mangrum and a sister Ruth Elam.

Survived by Wife: Nina Mynhier of the Home,Son: Tony Joe Mynhier and wife Evelyn of Henryetta,Daughters: Marsha and husband Lloyd Holt of Okmulgee, Lisa & husband Mike Laughlin of Broken Arrow,OK,7 Grandchildren,6 Great Grandchildren, Brother: B.F. "Peck" Mangrum of Pharoah, OK,Sisters: Emma Banta of Wetumka, Hazel Clark of Weleetka, Eva Robertson of Moore, Ok, Claudine Griffin of Texas.

Service will be 10:30am, Wednesday, July 12, 2006 at the Henryetta First Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Paslay, officiating. Interment will follow at the Wetumka Cemetery under the direction of the Rogers Funeral Home.
