Funeral services were held April 26 at Williamson Funeral Home Chapel for Lettie Belle McCroskey. Robert M. Watts officiated at the service.
Ms. McCroskey was born Aug. 23, 1911 in Wetumka to Owen and Elenor Ruth (Russell) Madison and died April 21 in Oklahoma City at the age of 94.
Her husband, Minor McCroskey, who was a Church of Christ minister for many years, preceded her in death.
Survivors include three daughters. Freida Watts-Claybaugh and husband, Vincent: Loretta Lowery, and Laverne Knight and husband, Robert, all of Oklahoma City: five grandchildren: four great grandchildren; five sisters, Rosa Span, Amarillo, Tx., Inez Renfro, Broaddus, Tx., Tabaitha Eason, Montgomery, Al., Alvemia Diechman, Amarillo, Tx., and Katherine Williamson, Wichita, Ks.: and two brothers, Bennie Roberts, Perkins and O.M. Roberts, Ardmore.
Pallbearers were Steve Robertson, Lee Cox, and Vince Claybaugh.
Internment was in the Wetumka Cemetery under the direction of Williamson Funeral Home.
