Hazel Alice Breedlove

Funeral services will be held June 9 at 11 a.m. At the Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Okemah for Hazel Alice Breedlove. Rev. Bill McDaniel will officiate at the services.
Ms. Breedlove was born April 25, 1928 in Bowles, AR. To William Hill and Leola Vines Hill and died June 1 in Oklahoma City at the age of 78.
She graduated from high school in Wetumka and was married to Robert “Bob” Walter Breedlove in Okemah on Sept 7, 1947. She was a resident of Okfuskee County all of her life.
She worked for Overall’s Department Store in Okemah for 15 years and was co-owner of Bob’s Café; she enjoyed quilting, sewing and fishing. Ms. Breedlove attended the Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Okemah.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Bob Breedlove, On Sept. 2, 1983; a daughter, Linda Johnston, and a stepdaughter, Ann Soto.
Survivors include a brother, Carl Hill of McAlester; three sisters, Jewell Smith, Shawnee, Audra Stokes, Dustin, and Goldie of Amarillo TX.; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Interment will be in the Wetumka Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home
